Look after yourself

  • Eat a balanced diet – make your stay in Australia an opportunity to learn how to cook!
  • If you drink alcohol, you must observe Queensland’s liquor licensing laws (www.olgr.qld.gov.au).
  • Exercise regularly – practice your favourite sport or learn a new one that is unique to Australia.
  • The Australian sun is very strong. Use sunscreen every day and wear a hat and sunglasses.
  • Drink plenty of water to avoid heatstroke in Summer.
