When you enrol in the subjects of your course (for example first semester), keep in mind these tips:
- If you have undertaken previous studies back home or a pathway program, find out if you are able to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This will save you time and money.
- Try to take your LECTURE with your TUTORIALS if possible on the same day. This will allow you to have them together in one day and not scattered throughout the week.
- Make sure to download your lecture notes in advance prior the lecture and read them. This way when you go to class you already know what is going to be covered in the lecture.
- Try to form a study group with 3 or 4 of your classmates early on so you can do group work together, or just help each other.
